STRANGE ENCOUNTERS

Strange Encounters is a series of small-format works that unfold their full impact only in pairs. Each duo functions like a set of twins — connected, yet distinctly individual; harmonious in one moment, subtly dissonant in the next.
These paired works engage in a visual dialogue, echoing each other while simultaneously drifting apart. They play with the tension between symmetry and deviation, resonance and offbeat rhythm, familiarity and strangeness.
Through this interplay, the paintings create a space where duality becomes a form of storytelling: two voices speaking side by side, overlapping, contradicting, or quietly completing one another. The result is a poetic exploration of relational energies — how two entities can mirror, challenge, and transform each other simply by existing together.
