SECRET LANDS

Microorganisms or macro-universes, single-celled entities or complex forms of life — our world is composed of countless elements and impressions. In the series Secret Lands, I explore the fictional perception of newly discovered worlds, inviting a gaze into the unknown.
The paintings oscillate between scales: are we looking at images of a distant galaxy, or at a nano-scale view of an unfamiliar organism? Through abstract landscapes and imagined topographies, the works blur the boundaries between micro and macro realities.
Creating an awareness of these parallel dimensions and encouraging a shift in perspective on life itself form the conceptual foundation of this series — an invitation to reconsider reality through abstraction and discovery.
